Construction scheduling software

A drag-and-drop Gantt schedule for the whole job, a weekly planner for the crews, and a company calendar that pulls in RFI, submittal and delivery dates. Everyone works from the same plan, and your milestones show up in Outlook, Google Calendar or Apple Calendar.

A schedule the field will actually look at

Most construction schedules live in a desktop file only the PM can open. The superintendent prints it once, it goes stale, and the real plan ends up on a whiteboard in the trailer. Trakend keeps the project schedule, the week's crew plan and the dates that drive them in the same place, on any phone or computer.

Weekly planner for crews and subs

The weekly planner is the digital version of the weekly planning sheet many superintendents collect every Friday. Each sub or crew gets a row with Monday through Sunday, and you can copy a week forward instead of starting from scratch. From Thursday on, it opens to next week automatically.

Each entry can be private, shared with specific people, or visible to everyone, and subcontractors can edit only their own rows. The planner exports to PDF, and the crews planned for a day pre-fill that day's daily report so the super only adjusts what changed.

Subscribe in Outlook, Google Calendar or Apple Calendar

Every user gets a private calendar feed link. Subscribe once in Outlook, Google Calendar or Apple Calendar and your Trakend calendar events and schedule milestones show up there and stay updated, from two months back to about a year ahead. You can regenerate the link any time.

Tasks board

For punch-style to-dos that don't belong on the Gantt chart, each project has a task board (Not Started, In Progress, Completed) and a list view with priority, due dates, comments and attachments.

Part of every plan

Scheduling sits alongside RFIs and submittals, drawings and the time clock in one app, included on every plan at a flat monthly price. See pricing, or compare Trakend with Buildertrend and Procore.

Frequently asked questions

Does Trakend have a Gantt chart?

Yes. Each project has a drag-and-drop Gantt schedule with phases, sections, milestones, percent complete, finish-to-start links with lag, and a saved baseline.

Can I import a schedule from Microsoft Project or Primavera P6?

Not as live tasks today. You can upload one or more PDF schedules to the project for reference, or build the schedule in Trakend's Gantt chart.

Does the schedule sync to Outlook or Google Calendar?

Each user gets a private calendar feed you subscribe to in Outlook, Google Calendar or Apple Calendar. It carries your calendar events and schedule milestones and updates automatically. It is a one-way feed from Trakend.

Can subcontractors see the weekly plan?

Yes, based on each entry's visibility setting. Subs can view what's shared with them and edit only their own rows in the weekly planner.

What's the difference between the schedule and the weekly planner?

The schedule is the whole-project Gantt chart with phases, milestones and dependencies. The weekly planner is the crew-level plan for the coming week, by sub or crew and by day, and it pre-fills the daily report.
