About Trakend
Trakend is construction management software for general contractors and subcontractors. It's built in Fort Worth, Texas, and it puts the field, the paperwork and the money side of a job in one app, at flat prices based on the size of your crew instead of a fee for every login.
Why Trakend exists
Most construction companies run their jobs on a patchwork: daily logs in one app, drawings in another, RFIs in a spreadsheet, pay apps in Excel and everything else in email and text messages. Each tool charges per user, so companies ration logins, the foreman never gets one, and the record of what happened on site ends up incomplete.
Trakend was started in 2026 to fix that with one project record that the office, the field and the subcontractors all work in. A daily report, the JHA signed that morning, the T&M ticket signed that afternoon, the change order it turned into and the pay app it lands on are all connected.
What Trakend does
- Field: daily reports, safety, JHAs and toolbox talks, photos, checklists, forms and a crew time clock.
- Project documents: plans and drawings, RFIs and submittals, scheduling, tasks, calendar and files.
- Money: budgets and job costing, purchase orders, vendor invoices, expenses, and change orders and G702/G703-style pay applications.
- Team: roles and per-person permissions, free subcontractor access, project messaging, and Maya, an AI assistant that answers questions about your projects.
- Web app on any device, plus an iPhone and iPad app on the Apple App Store.
